Mr. Leo P. Manahl, is the Non-Lethal Weapon Liaison assigned to Headquarters European Command. He serves as the principal advisor to the Combatant Command in all affairs regarding non-lethal weapons.
Leo served 25 years in the military as an infantry officer in the US Army and in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Officer. In the Army Leo held positions including Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader, company Executive Officer, Mortar Platoon Leader, Headquarters Company Commander, Assistant S3 and S3 Air. In the Air Force he served in positions such as Flight Commander, Operations Officer, Deputy Commander, Commander and Major Command Staff Officer. He has served in multiple locations in the United States and overseas at Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Leo has served as the Non-Lethal Weapons Liaison Officer at European Command since December 2012.
